Thank you for your interest in joining Facepalm
In order to screen our new recruits we ask for a simple application to be filled out. This is our way of checking if you can follow simple directions and whether you would be a good fit for the guild.
Application Process:
• Potential recruit submits an application
• An officer will review your application
• If the application meets our requirements, the officer team will vote you into the guild as a Member.
• Even if you are admitted into the guild, we reserve the right to remove a member if he/she is not a good fit with the rest of our community.
• Please give us at least one week to review your application. Asking multiple times in game if we have reviewed it is frowned upon.
1.) Please create your application in the correct forum board (“Application Submission”)
2.) The title should include: Your character’s name, role, and the date of your post.
3.) The following questions should be answered truthfully (Please proofread, it shows that you are dedicated)
A. Tell us about your main character. What is your preferred role? How long have you been playing this character?
B. What other guilds, if any, have/are you been/a member of? Why did you leave them?
C. Explain any previous raiding experience you may have. Which content, if any, have you cleared? How many hours are you accustomed to raiding per week?
D. What do you like to spend your time doing when you log in?
E. Have you played any other MMOs? What other types of games do you enjoy playing?
F. Why do you think Facepalm is right for you?
G. Do you know any of our current members? Will any of these members vouch for you?
H. Tell us a bit about yourself in real life. We enjoy a close relationship between members in Facepalm, and we would enjoy getting to know you as well.
I. Have you read through and do you understand the application process?
J. End the forum post with your favorite quote. (Serious, funny, ridiculous, be creative)
Make this fun! This is your opportunity to tell us about yourself. We love getting new applications and look forward to meeting new recruits.
