A. Tell us about your main character. What is your preferred role? How long have you been playing this character?
- Main character was a holy paladin since I came back. I hate the new paladins, so my new main is Fierin. Prefer to dps, though I do have a pretty bad tanking set. I have not tanked since vanilla. This character hit 90 recently (2-3 months ago), but I made him first when I came back to WoW late last year.
B. What other guilds, if any, have/are you been/a member of? Why did you leave them?
- In vanilla/tbc I was in a progression guild that unfortunately does not exist anymore (was on another server). Recently, I have been in Predominant. They taught me everything I know about holy pally as well as geared me up. They started heroic progression on their second raid group, but I really got to hating paladin... so I didn't join for heroic content after immerseus and norushen.
C. Explain any previous raiding experience you may have. Which content, if any, have you cleared? How many hours are you accustomed to raiding per week?
- Vanilla: raided 15-20 hours a week (or more) during progression. We had all of ZG, MC, BWL, AQ20 and 40 on farm, with Naxx up to Sapphiron on farm.
- TBC: raided 10-15 hours a week (normally about that) cleared up to Black Temple. I quit when we just started having it fully on farm.
- MoP: raided 8 hours a week (4 hours, twice daily) with Predominant on my paladin.
I normally get burnt out after about 4 hours of raiding in a day, plus with my schedule it gets a bit hectic doing more.
D. What do you like to spend your time doing when you log in?
- For the most part I just run around shrine waiting for queues to pop. I really don't enjoy much in WoW besides raiding and instance grinding.
E. Have you played any other MMOs? What other types of games do you enjoy playing?
- I have played a slew of MMO's, but mostly it has been Ultima Online when I was really young, then Everquest, then a game called Dark Ages by Nexon (now owned by Kru, it sucks now though). I enjoy tower defense and strategy games, as well as chess.
F. Why do you think Facepalm is right for you?
- You will let me stab things on my warrior.
G. Do you know any of our current members? Will any of these members vouch for you?
- Haven't gotten to run into any of your members as I have not been too active since the merge, minus the small knit bit of raiding I do
H. Tell us a bit about yourself in real life. We enjoy a close relationship between members in Facepalm, and we would enjoy getting to know you as well.
- Well, I work in a multifamily brokerage. I do financial analysis, market research, basic IT helpdesk stuff, and manage their database. I play D&D on Saturdays and I do a LARP esque thing with my fiancee. Social drinker, kind of a menace when I log in drunk... but it ends up hilarious for everyone else.
I. Have you read through and do you understand the application process?
- What the hell is an application? my follow up question would be, what the hell is a process?
J. End the forum post with your favorite quote. (Serious, funny, ridiculous, be creative)
- Give a man a fish, he will eat for a day.
Give a man a computer, he will fish online for life.
PS. Don't make me write anymore, please....
